Dunzo is an indian delivery startup that provides delivery service in various tier-1 cities such as delhi, bengaluru ,mumbai , pune, hyderabad,gurugram, chennai these are the cities in which dunzo already working. Dunzo also operates a bike taxi service in gurugram.

DUNZO founded by KABEER BISWAS alongwith cofounders- ANKUR AGARWAL,DALVIR SURI and MUKUND JHA in 2014. It is headquartered in bengaluru.later it was funded by google in 2017. before founding DUNZO kabeer biswas founded HOPPR which was acquired by hike in 2014. DUNZO started out as a small whatsapp group and transformed into a app based service.

DUNZO raised its first funding of us $650k in 2016 from blume ventures , aspada ventires including Md of google india.In 2017,received US$12 million from google with existing investors.3rd funding received INR 34.56 cr funding by issuing from debentueres .

In 2020 it completes an average of 1,00,000 transaction everyday across more than 5 cities.DUNZO usess AI to manage customer tasks include fetching something you forgot at home and office.

Now,DUNZO has competition form top unicorns including swiggy, zomato, bigbasket.An idea behind DUNZO is to reduce friction in completing a particular task and to reduce cost per transaction.The company has tied up with more than 500 merchants across the cities.His startup is moostly based on hyper-local-on demand-delivery service.it is a delivery company which delivers anything and everything whichever you want on your demand.DUNZO connects cutomers with nearby merchants and gives delivery services to the merchant.at present DUNZO charges 10-12 percent commission on total delivery cost from merchants.
